Terms and Conditions of using Avonleigh Country Quilting Online Shop and Website

By using the Avonleigh Country Quilting web site, you agree to be bound by these terms of use and also to the provisions of our Privacy Policy.

Avonleigh Country Quilting reserves the right to change or add to this web site at any time without notice, including these terms of use, privacy policy and prices.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the terms of use which will continue in full force and effect.

  1. G.S.T. and Prices on this website

Prices shown in the catalogues are inclusive of G.S.T. but unfortunately the shopping basket total displayed at the top right of the screen is exclusive of GST.  Click on the shopping basket to see the total of your shopping basket inclusive of G.S.T. and also the postage costs.

Secure on-line payments with your credit card.  Simply use our convenient shopping basket system to make your selection. Press the Check Out button and then select Card Capture and follow the instructions.  Visa and Mastercard accepted.

By internet or normal bank transfer using the shopping basket.  Use our shopping basket system to select your order when you are online, select Printed Order Form at the Check Out for details of our bank account.  Please do not do the bank transfer until we confirm that we have all goods in stock.  Please put your name in as a reference on the bank transfer form so we can tie up the order and payment.

Phone, fax or mail order using the shopping basket.  Use our shopping basket system to select your order while you are online, select Printed Order Form at the Check Out, add your payment details and then either fax, mail or phone your payment details to:

Notes: Please do not send your cheque or money order or do a bank transfer until we have emailed you confirming that we have all goods in stock.  Orders paid for by cheque or bank transfer will not be despatched until funds have been cleared. 

  1. Delivery Policy:

We endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receipt of order. Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will contact you by email and advise the expected delivery time, normally no more than 3 weeks.  You may choose whether we ship the available portion of your order and ship the balance when it becomes available, or whether you wish to wait for the entire order to be shipped once available. You will only pay for shipping once.

If you would prefer, an alternate item may be offered rather than wait.

  1. Discontinued Products

We do our best to keep all products listed on our site current. However, in the event of a product no longer being available from the supplier we will contact you and either not process any payment or issue a full refund for that item.

  1. Returns Policy

We are unable to accept returns simply because you have changed your mind or the colour/scale of fabric pattern is not correct so please choose carefully.

Cut fabric (i.e. 60cm of fabric.), books and patterns are non-returnable unless faulty, when goods may be returned for a refund or exchange for the same item (depending on availability).

Refunds will be processed in the same manner in which payment was made.

All items must be returned unused and in the same condition as sold and the customer receipt (photocopy or original) must be included.

Please ensure the goods are packaged securely for return as we cannot offer refunds for goods damaged in transit.

You are required to return the goods by post and keep the postal receipt.  Avonleigh Country Quilting will refund your postage if the return is as a result of our error or a defective item.  We cannot accept the return of goods C.O.D.

You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks, although this will usually be quicker.  The time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes for your bank to process the refund or the post to deliver your refund cheque (5 to 10 business days).

  1. Shipping – Postage

We currently only post within Australia.  Postage is calculated automatically at checkout.  You can check the estimated postage at any time by clicking on the shopping basket.  The final postage will be calculated depending on your address.

Please note that unless you request otherwise, goods will be sent via standard Australia Post.  Goods are despatched at your own risk.

If you would prefer your goods to be sent via Express or Registered Post, please state this in the Delivery Notes or Additional Comments section on checkout.  We will let you know the extra cost involved.  Please do not send a cheque or money order or do a bank transfer before we let you know the additional cost of your preferred method of postage.
